Raritan is a small town of about 7,000 people along the Delaware-Raritan Canal. It was incorporated from Bridgewater Township in 1948, and still shares a school system with Bridgewater. The Raritan train station is the western-most station served by all the Raritan Valley Line trains, making Raritan a great place to live for commuters.
